Reality is metal. But how metal is it? Every week, in order to find out, Metal Reality trains its proprietary Metal Detector on something which is probably real, and possibly metal.

The MR Metal Detector integrates an array of rigorous, scientific protocols to quantify exactly how metal absolutely anything in reality, no matter what it is, is.

MR is updated once or twice a week, usually on Tuesday and Friday. At least one post every week is always a Metal Detector reading. The other post is sometimes something else.

Gunnar Jaeck holds the copyright to all content on MR, unless he credits such content to someone else, or unless he stole it.

The MR logo and captions for Metal Detector images use the Squealer font created by Ray Larabie. Used under license.

The Metal Detector chalice was created using Blender.

Most images were edited using GIMP and Inkscape.
